FOCUS: Disruption – Moving Forward is the final part of a year-long collaboration at the School of Communication and Media at Montclair State University. This hour-long program focuses not only on the problems caused by the pandemic but on creative solutions all across our state.
Our national award-winning coverage in the fall, FOCUS: Disruption the Kickoff explored the many challenges brought on by the pandemic. This spring, we will learn how institutions and individuals are overcoming obstacles and getting back to living life and working productively. This hour combines vivid on-screen reporting, live interviews with experts, and roundtable discussions. FOCUS: Disruption – Moving Forward, shares the stories of how we are learning to live past the challenges that emerged from the pandemic.
In this show, we look at how the impacts of isolation affect children and their futures. We learn the importance of maintaining our mental health, along with our physical health. We look at challenges in the workplace that cause mass resignations and inspire nontraditional paths to success. We find out why people are experiencing burnout and how to overcome it. The program ends on a happy note when we hear about the passions that get us through difficult times.
